Screening of Dolores and Community Panel

Please join us in viewing the brand new, award-winning film " Dolores" at The Evergreen State College on December 2nd in Purce Hall, Lecture Hall 1. This film follows the revolutionary story of Dolores Huerta and her work in co-founding the National Farm Workers Association, which later became the United Farm Workers ( UFW). 

The film screening will be followed by a Q and A session with community organizer, Rosalinda Guillen with Community to Community Development, Labor Organizer, Ramón Torres President of “ Familias Unidas Por la Justicia” and National Vice President of the UFW, Erik Nicholson. All of whom have been active in organizing around Farm Worker Justice in Western Washington and beyond. Come learn about what our community can do to support justice for farm workers! Admission is Free and the event is open to the community and surrounding areas! Parking Lots B and C will be open for event parking.
