As many of you know in the month of September many Latin American countries celebrate their independence day. Tadeos Restaurant would like to invite our community to come and celebrate an important time for all of us and at the same time raise funds for Community to Community.
Community to Community is dedicated to food sovereignty, farm worker justice, and the local solidarity economy.
The owner of Tadeos, Maria Luisa has a 10 year relationship with C2C and has volunteered her time. She inspired C2C leaders to support the development of the women owned worker cooperative Las Margaritas in Whatcom County. Many of you enjoyed her food at the Farmers Market. She now owns her own family restaurant and now wants to give back to her community by hosting this fundraiser.
We are calling on all of our friends and allies to come and enjoy some food and drinks on September 15th at the new Tadeos location on Northwest Avenue in Bellingham.
Come and support this fundraiser for C2C can continue the important work of organizing in the farm worker community and promote and practice the solidarity economy here locally.
Vegetarian and Vegan choices will also be available
