The Community Advocacy Support Center (CASCAID) is happy to invite you to our 9th annual Community Advocacy Conference at Western Washington University. The CASCAID Conference brings together activists and academics for a meaningful exchange of ideas and methods. The 2012 theme is “Food Solidarity”, and we will be exploring the many connections between various aspects of the food system (farming, fisheries, nutrition, labor, corporate influence, food sovereignty, hunger, safety, ecology, etc). Everyone is affected by food!
